Uploading old assets.

This are rear three quarter views of the monster for another set of scenes.

As part of revising the updates based on experience gained and my decision to update the style as the project evolved, and push my abilities even further, I’ve retroactively updated many of the assets.

These are among the most dramatic changes, though characters such as the cows  have also received minor updates.

This is the underside view of the parents, rushing to rescue their kids.

Earlier in the blog I mentioned there would be no more emotions for our favorite stars, this is not the case, as I felt this set here would bring a wonderful sense of charm to the pair in a particular set of scenes.

Again, updating with more old assets from the past few weeks.

Other things you might find. A big, mean ol’ vortex and some adorable poofy cloud! Or maybe… Look at that color, is it an explosion?

Big nets for use by the farmer stars!  They look pretty multipurpose.

Also, the puppet tool really helps with these and makes them a pleasure to animate.

Again, these are assets I’ve had for a while, and now that my project has been completed I have found the time to upload them,

Even though a large focus of our project is user generated backgrounds,  for the sake of consistency in the animation, we do require some of our own.

This is the star town through which the parent stars scramble to find their children! There’s two angles, one from a birds eye view, and one more close up. You’ll see how these come into play i the animation, but the first is used for a very aerial and distant sequence where we see the parents dance around the town like sparks.

The following scene is more close up and personal, and allows us to describe the parents despondence in the context of star town.
